We invested in Overexport around the opportunity to dominate a highly specific and fragmented vertical: giving construction materials a second life.
The ambition was global: if the company could consolidate this fragmented market, it had the potential to become the reference platform for the category, creating significant negotiating power and highly attractive margins. While the business ultimately did not succeed, the scale of that potential market position was what made the opportunity compelling at the time.
